Nashville Lee, BNA Propose Naming Airport for Dolly Parton Gov. Bill Lee and Nashville International Airport announced Friday, Aug. 28, 2026, their intent to name BNA in honor of Dolly Parton. The name has not changed. The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority is set to address the proposal and its naming policy on Thursday, Sept. 17.
