Knox Planning Commission Recommends a Data Center Freeze Through June 2027

On Aug. 13 the Knoxville-Knox County Planning Commission recommended a data center moratorium through June 30, 2027. Case 8-B-26-OB is a recommendation — Knox County Commission still has the final vote. The City of Knoxville freeze is already live.
