There are children in East Tennessee who have no one.

No safe home. No stable family. No one to tell them it's going to be okay.

For more than 100 years, Smoky Mountain Children's Home has been the place that says: "We see you. You belong here. And your story isn't over."

What Smoky Mountain Children's Home Does

SMCH is a faith-based nonprofit in Sevierville that transforms the lives of at-risk children and teens through three core programs:

• Adoption — Many children and youth in foster care need permanent homes. SMCH's adoption staff work to bring these kids and their forever families together.
• Foster Care — Foster homes are the stepping stones to finding a "forever" home. SMCH recruits, trains, and supports foster parents who open their homes and hearts.
• Residential Care — For children who need structured, therapeutic support, SMCH provides safe residential living with family counseling, individual therapy, educational opportunities, and a staff trained to help each child heal.

Led by Dr. Walt Mauldin and Tammie Mauldin, SMCH provides a continuum of care tailored to each child's needs — creating safe, supportive environments where kids can discover their strengths and overcome the circumstances of their past.

Over a century of ministry. Hundreds of children given a chance they wouldn't have had otherwise.
